IN EVO Spotted Thread
C5 Z06 is sweet. I'm waiting for C6 Z06 prices to come down a bit more I want one bad!
As somebody who designs engines for a living, I gotta say the LS7 is one of if not the best all around V8 currently in production. It has a list of factory parts that sounds like a fully built racecar: Titanium rods, forged crank, hypereutectic pistons, Del West Titanium intake valves (these guys make valves for F1, reason most tuners havent heard of them is their good stuff goes for $300+/valve), sodium filled exhaust valves, CNC ported intake manifold, dry sump lube 7.0L 7000rpm, factory warranty can be bought in a crate for $15k and serviced at any shop that services smallblocks.
And the C6 Z, despite what euro snobs, and american car haters think feature some pretty advanced tech even going beyond the engine, carbon fiber fenders, and floor, hydroformed aluminum frame, magnesium engine cradle, composite transverse leaf spring short-long arm fully independent suspension with forged aluminum a-arms. It shows that the C6 Z was designed in tandem alongside the C6R racecar.
Maybe one day when the C7 comes out the C6 Z will drop into C5 pricerange

Is your X wingless and lowered with aftermarket headlights? If it is Ive seen you on Olio rd and on 116 in Fishers. I work at The Jimmy Johns up there. I have a yellow 8.
Nope, mine is pretty much stock. I got the short wing and rally armor flaps. Surprised I haven't seen you around the area. I must not be very observant.
Here is the meet info.
