Just wanted to say hello to all the local Evo owners. I live just a little north of Indianapolis and I picked up my Evo just before the New Year.
I know there is a car meet going on at the Golds Gym on 86th and Michigan this Saturday at 10pm. I’ll be up there for sure. I would like to meet some of you if you wanna stop by. The meet is open to all performance cars and bikes so feel free to bring any of your with different rides.

I've talked to Routybouty already, but I got a question about CELs if anyone has any input.

Currently the car has a Buschur TBE with a cat, and a perrin filter.

However, still throwing the CEL even though i've reset the battery three times.

Any ideals? Rich?

Thanks

I bet you your throwing a P0420 code. this is when your rear 02 sensor is reading rich. basically your hi-flow cat is too hi-flow. I had the same problem with my Perrin hi-flow cat. Run up to AutoZone and pick up a 2 pack of 18mm anti-foulers for 5 bucks. there is a how-to thread on here that will show you what to do. I did it and it worked!

I just got it read and your right, p0420. I bought a pack of the anti-foulers, and gonna see if I can get them put on soon. Should this eliminate the problem all together, or would this possibly come back up again?

Thanks again for your help!
