It's a mail tune, you send him logs and he modifies them, sends it back to you, then you do logs again and etc etc. The cycle continues until mellon feels that the tune is the best it can be. But if you wanted a road tune or something he is in Tennessee.
oho you guys going out to greenwood this weekend? My car is still in a state of disassembly, but i have all the parts. I'm going to replace belts/tensioners/pulley/cams and oil pump to get it back on the road. If I can get all that done before weekend I'll be there! lol (its a tall order tommorow is crap weather, i will try on wed/thurs/friday and see how far i can get!
oh ok i kinda want a dyno tune its a little more on the money i think i have a teacher who owns a tunning shop he will do a raod tune for free which i think im gunna do cuz india doenst really have awd dynos
That said, somebody who knows what they are doing will be able to do a better job with a road tune because the load at the wheels and the intercooler efficiency is real, not simulated like on a dyno. Its just not as quick and convenient as dyno.
I know the whole E-Motor parts operation is ghetto as all hell. With all sorts of Chinese knock off crap. So obviously stay away from their parts. But that said, I was thinking if you rent dyno time and take your own tuner with you, there shouldn't be any issue right?
Altho I've never done it I'm just guessing. Perhaps Fathouse has some bad experience with that dyno they have...
