Altho I've never done it I'm just guessing. Perhaps Fathouse has some bad experience with that dyno they have...
A while ago they stood a good friend of mine up on a dyno session on a sat morning. That left a bad taste in my mouth. They blew up the center diff in another friends car (subie) because they do not know how to use the dyno properly. We had started to plan a local evo dyno day there but decided it was not a good idea. I have heard they sold the dyno anyway but have not cared to verify that because I will never go there nor recomend anybody there.

Oh I forgot, I spotted a black one with the UK badge on Coldwater on Saturday evening I believe.

Cartman "Craig do you like fish-sticks?"
Clyde "Yea"
Cartman "You like fish-dicks in your mouth?"
Clyde "Yea"
Cartman "What are you? ...A GAYFISH?!?!?"

You guys think you can help me out with this problem I've been having, it sounds exactly like this, the squeaking sound even a bird chirping. COuld it be the alternator?

This?

If it's that I had the same thing. It turned out to be either the timing belt idler or tensioner. Both of which were replaced under warranty. Seems like quite a few IXs have this.

I am thinking about getting a personalized plate since it's coming up. What do you guys think i should get?

I was thinking "OMG EVO" or "EVO FTW" (EVO Fort Wayne is my excuse for the FTW)

Just an FYI for anyone who is interested. In Evansville, IN on Main St in downtown, there is a car show on the first Friday of every month from May through September. The registration booth is at the corner of 6th and Main (Google Map Location), show starts at 1700CDT.

I won't be there for the one in May, as I'll be on travel to California. However, I will be at all the rest of them. If we want to get a group together I'd love to have a group representing DSM/Evo's there. We could do chow/drinks afterward.

If anyone is planning on coming down and needs info on hotels, where to stay, etc., just PM me.

Car should be back from Buschur's within the next week or so, Daniel has it on a lift right now. I'll post up pics when she gets back.

Cheers!

So I was under the car scraping oil pan gasket off with a razor (i just noticed I still have oil pan gasket in my hair), and I noticed there was a bunch of black on teh radiator next to the interface of the hotside and the o2 housing. I'm looking at the thing cuz i figure its leaking bad and i see one of the studs is like bent and the bolt is chillin like halfway down the thread!

So now I'm gonna have to pull the exhaust manifold off with turbo to fix it all up

But on the plus side, I will be able to replace all gaskets while im in there, make use of my master gasket kit

oh yes, and I ordered new tires today! 255/35r18 Star Spec Z1's

but they kost $1060

all you guys with 17's stay there, the price difference for 18" tires is retarded.

o yea. Have any of you pulled the rear seats out of you car? I've been thinking of taking them out for weight and putting in harnesses...

I've never taken out the back seats, how hard is it and what needs to be done?

I've heard it's really easy. There's a how-to somewhere just google it.
