What are you planning on doing with it?
And do they have a thing where we can just show up and drive of course pay money but not a HPDE event?

New oil pump/seals/re-gasketing exhuast system to plug up any leaks.
New tires/brake pads/RBF600 brake fluid
anything else I feel like doing while the car is down...
Once everything is back together and broken in, I plan to try and retune with increased boost from 21 to 24psi.
O yea, and as for track events non HPDE, there are such events that are less organized, but I would highly recommend that you go through the proper learners channels when starting at a new track/new track driving experience. Unlesss you are very experienced driving on the track, it's really helpful to go through all the training and having the instructor there to teach you correct technique and line. The whole point of track days should be to make you a better driver and HPDE works really good for that for beginners.
Just going out and driving around is possible, but much more dangerous and you won't learn a whole lot just dicking around on your own! Having an experienced instructor accelerates improvement exponentially and makes you faster and safer

O yes and for any of you interested in getting a NASA membership to sign up for a HPDE track day this season. Let me know. I can get them to waive your $44 2009 membership fee if you sign up for a track day.

well me and a friend with a 350z are going to indy saturday, we should be in castleton around 5 or 6 were goin to the mall, then to circle centre for a little.. prolly cruise after that, then some of my other kokomo friends will be down around 10 or eleven.. they will be bringing a stage 3 srt w/ full bolt ons only running 17 psi at the moment, a cobb stage 2 sti, another slightly modded srt, nd a mildy modified jeep srt-8.. if anybody from the indy/greenwood are would wanna meet up

Track driving is so much more challenging and entertaining for the driver. It requires so much more skill and finesse to be fast around a track. Not to mention the fun lasts several 20 minute sessions instead of a handful of 10-11 sec runs! I'm not saying drag racing is no fun, just that its the wrong choice out of the two given the fact that we are driving Evos hehe.
I went ahead and ordered the Rexpeed triple dash gauge pod, since he gave me a good price
. I having my new tires mounted Monday, so I will post my feedback after a few days with them!!
