lol my car evo has been down for 2 months just for the clutch but because they messed up im getting a free tune but i hope it will be back up and runnen in about 2 weeks

Got most of the stuff torn out that's in the way of the EM/IM. Only spilled about a quart of coolant and have a blood spattered IC pipe now lol. Also I got my "got evo?" shirt .

Decided to skip on the IM and TB porting (sucks since I already bought the gaskets). I might due those later on in the summer. I will probably get the Mil.spec 65mm TB and their IM porting combo.

How fast does Mellon tune? I should get this done tomorrow, Thursday at the latest. I wonder if he can get me in Thursday or Friday so I can have the beast ready for the weekend.

Ah what the ****, Mellon raised his price to $350 ****ing dammit.

 

mellon is very particular about tuning evos. if im not mistaken, i think i did a total of 10 logs (probably more) before wrapping up.

 

Yea but did his services become $100 better all of a sudden? I know he's good, obviously he knows he's good. But what am I getting now that I couldn't get 1 month ago?

 

hmmm... i know i paid 350$ back in october. $250 option was just for the basic tune with no extra columns for accurate fuel mapping. there were 6 options, now only 3. i still say it's worth it. prolly mellon can chime in here to justify his services although in tuner review section, all were happy with his services though.

 

Dan you cheapo, just pay the money to get a REALLY good tune from Mellon.
