Well I have to drop my car off at the dealer for some repair
. My ABS is acting up so I went prying around and found some teeth off the ABS ring missing on the drivers rear axle. I am debating though if I should tell them that is the problem or let them figure it out? I don't know if they might try to blame me since I was already in there. What do you guys think?
I think I might set my 2step to like 3k/5k just so they can't beat the crap out of it.

Well when I dropped it off I saw another evo in the bay. It was a silver 8. He said the guy was selling it and was getting stuff fixed for the sale, he also said it was a mess and not in that great of condition.
I got a call and he said they'll need it for 1-1.5 weeks for parts
. The timing belt tensioner and hopefully the belt are getting replaced. The he said the RD ABS sensor needs replaced which I know it doesn't but I don't think he tore into yet just a preliminary guess. It needs the ABS ring replaced which I assume means a new axle. I'm gonna call him back and tell them to replace the serpentine belt while they're in there sicne it's 5k overdue
.
Just got another call and he asked if I wanted my timing belt replaced
. So they're not replacing that under warranty, which I guess is expected as there is nothing wrong with the actual belt. So they're going to replace the timing belt and serpentine belt both with free labor woot. Considering I was going to get the serpentine belt replaced soon anyway this kinda came at a good time as now I don't have to pay labor.

Just turned 35k 2 days ago.
The timing tensioner is making the same noise on quite a few evos. I've searched it on here and youtube it's almost always the tensioner.

happy new year!!!
the gauge is from auto gauge.
i dont know if you head of it before or not, and i only get it for less than $50 including the bracket/holder.. and i think it is a good deal.
