Idaho Evo's?
Im thinking about moving to Idaho from Texas......If it does happen it will be the Idaho Falls area to work at the Idaho National Labratories. What is that area like for EVO's? are there alot of tuning options in the area?
Also what do you think of that area in general?
Thanks

I moved to Pocatello in 99. Idaho Falls is an ok area, it's better retail than around here. There's a lot of people that work for the INL in that area. It's also got a heavy mormon population. I'm talking way more than most places - roughly 85%. It's a bit of a culture shock when the second question after they ask for your name is "what ward are you from?".
As far as tuners go, I just got my EVO X a couple weeks ago, and from what I can tell there are 0 tuners in this area. Boise and Salt Lake are our options. In fact, I think there are only 2 other evo's in Pocatello besides mine, and none of them are X's.
That's the bad news. The good news is we have a very strong autocross program in this area. Most events are held in Pocatello, but sometimes we try to get up to I.F. to play in back of the mall. There is only one event left this year, but it is the blowout that usually involves 100+ cars. You can check out the website here:

Let me know if there's anything else you need, I will try to get answers for you.

You have to drive down to SLC to get tuned and dyno. Just moved out of Boise, ID a year ago
there were like 4-5 evos at that time
