Hello, everyone..I was hoping someone could help me out. I need the ram part for the airbox, for an evo X. Long story short my engine might be blown and I had to put the car completely back to stock..I just don't want the dealer to give me crap, so I have to put the factory air box back, but I need the ram piece..I'd be willing to pay for the piece or hopefully someone would be nice enough to let me borrow it..I just need it to go to the dealer... Hopefully someone can help me out.

It sounds like you're submitting this as a warranty claim, then? I mean, otherwise you'd just take the car as it sits to the dealer for repair.

So: what factory failure are you claiming occurred here?

Interesting; I just went back through some of your most recent posts. You've been fighting problems with running lean for the last few months, and now you have engine trouble.

So, my question still stands: are you planning on submitting this as a warranty claim?

 

I would say so. I've been to the dealer on more than one occasion. When I first bought the car I had a check engine light. At first they said they didn't know anything about the flashes for the car and that I shouldn't read everything I see in forums. So, now I have no choice but to take it back to them. my car has been flashed three times by Mitsu dealers. So there are records hopefully. My only problem is that, two of the three dealerships are now closed. So it will be hard. But I've seen two post where guys have completely destroyed there engines. So yes I will take this as a warranty claim. I have a feeling I'm in the same boat..
