Vince, I'm not sure what you're looking at as far as tint goes but I would give it a little time to see what happens with the tint law that should pass in the near future and make sure your tints are in accordance with that.

With that said, I'm hunting for a shop to do it as well. My wagon's going to be $$$ to do, I'm thinking of trying to do it myself.

I second what Brian said. There's been a lot of misinformation running around concerning this issue.

"The sky is falling."

That's in black and white too and you can clearly read and immediately understand its meaning. However, well... enough said I think.

Carsmart in Hanover Park did mine and we just dropped off a buddies car today as a matter of fact.

He is running a special, $200 for all windows, except the front windshield. Did a great job on my car. I also had him put a clear bra on my car as well.

because searches rarely produce the answer i am looking for,and in this case i was right they did not, so i posted this knowing that people such as yourself would have a good time of pointing out that i should use the search.pretty common on most forums really .i am also looking for the phone # or location of tinting places which are not given in the searches i have done

got mine done at ziebart in franklin park. 180 for whole car except the windshield, i think it was a special though. either way, super good quality and lifetime guarantee on color, bubbles, peeling, etc. i know in illinois we're not supposed to have the front door windows done, but i got 35(ish?) percent in the front and 22(ish?) in the rear and, knock on wood, nobody has said anything about it yet. its still very see-through in the front, but does still make a huge difference. i suppose any other ziebart shops around would be the same way, hopefully
