I just recently moved back to my hometown of Saint Clair Shores here in Michigan. I've only seen one Evo in the past month I've been here! Where is everyone? I'm picking up my car from NC at the end of this month. It would be nice if we could get a group together to go to Milan dragway or something in September. Anyone down?

September 11th, I'm going with some people (all types of cars) to the Ubly drag strip for their Test and Tune event. You should go! I'll be there around noon. Mitsubishi enthusiasts in Michigan have dwindled to almost nothing. They've moved out of the state, jumped ship to another platform, or have retired from the scene. A bunch of us rolled to the DSM/Evo shootout this past weekend. That was my first "Mitsubishi meet" I've experience in 8 years LOL.

Hey do they have a good tuner at speed industry? I need someone who will tune AEM.

 

I've heard nothing but great things about Speed Industry. I've been to their shop to hang out, and even at their dyno days. I doubt you'll have problems there.

 

Yeah he was pretty good. I honestly dont know if he works there anymore. As of about a month ago, Jan (owner) sold the shop to someone else. I cant vouch for who's in there now.

 

The only thing that changed is the owner. Everyone else in the shop has stayed on board.

I bet Pure Tuning in Toledo will do it. I would also ask this question in the Michigan DSM Forums. I bet you my bottom dollar there's a couple tuners on there who do AEM.

 

The tuner @ S.I. (Tony) is very profecient with AEM. He has been tuning my car which has the AEM and I am very pleased with how it runs.

 

I just spotted a house with a few Evos and a red 2g eclipse parked around it in Shelby Township near where Ryan and Auburn intersect. Anybody know them?

 

Yeah! There is a garage RIGHT behind that house. A guy, I don't remember his user name on here, but his name on Xceedspeed.com is "Shanks", he rents that garage and the dude is awesome working on the 4G63 (and it's variants). He's always got Evo's and DSM's in his garage. Last summer, he hosted a BBQ there, and it was pretty awesome. He's a good guy, and pretty well known in the area. He doesn't live there, though, so dropping by to say hello may be a waste, haha.
