I was on my way to work this morning and listening to the Sherman and Tingle show on Q101. The topic was about P-whipped boyfriends, and things they had to give up for their GF's. Someone called in and said that they'd be getting rid of their Evo soon to buy an engagement ring. Anyone on here?

The sucky thing was that the hosts then started to make little Evo and fast and the furious jokes... anyone else hear this morning show? Just thought it was breifly entertaining in traffic.

i called up the show and told them I gave up my girlfriend to marry my EVO.

typical arrogant people think evos are rice-----

 

Damn I missed it. People just don't understand the potential. No other car comes close.

Its was pretty funny... they asked him what kinda sports car he was selling for a ring, and he said Mitsubishi evo. The hosts then said, "Ahhh an Evo! ... are you fast and furious? Do you have the huge spoiler on the trunk of the car? And started playing some light techno in the back ground. One of the other guys in the studio said "you guys are going to offend all the Evo owners" which they then said something like "Did we ever say the evo wasn't cool? no. So no offense to you Evo owners" or something like that.

A bit later they had already switched the topic to the richest people in America. They were talking about Bill gates, Trump, and how the Facebook creator was worth 25 billion. They then said "Now you KNOW that guy's gotta have an evo!"

Pretty funny stuff.

 

I was listening to Q101 on Thursday and heard that guy. It was kinda funny until he said its a 4dr, 4wd car with a lot of power. I was like 4WD???

 

those guys appeal to the mainstream. so obviously they're going to make a fast n furious joke.

sadly i listen to those guys on my short ride to work, no more steve dahl or johny b
