i feel ya. i'm here in wisconsin and i'm tired of this cold. i just helped one of my coworkers change the front axle on his 2002 civic and when i got in the garage to move my evo, the clutch pedal felt harder. all this winter i've been driving my beater which is a 95 kia sportage stick shift. as soon as it gets warmer, im going to take it out for a spin to get used to the clutch again.

I'm in Wisconsin and only take the Evo out occasionally when its this cold. Can't wait for summer - planning to upgrade the suspension & brakes and get out to a few track days.

sucker... it was -8 this morning... had my evo ripping it up on the way to the gym. Why have a car like this and store it in the winter? it was built to be driven in these conditions

Here, in Upstate, NY, it's business as usual - snow, ice, salt. I really miss driving the car. Even if I could get a few hours behind the wheel, I'd be good to go 'till spring. If the weather continues as usual, we should have clear, salt-free roads by mid/end of March; though, we've had storms going well into May.

the thing is people have different goal with their cars. Driving in winter is fun ( i did it before) BUT when you decide to upgrade like i did this winter its not fun snaping bolts due to the rusted out parts/bolts/nuts. I end up installing a bnch of parts and a turbo, and a cpl hour job turn into days. Breaking bolts and having to drill them out in akward position is a PITA, and a fun project turned into something i started to regret it, even though i end up finishing the project with some patience and dipped everything in antisieze stuff lol for next time. Salt, snow and cold weather will def do their part.
