Picking up my new X next week and need to find a decent shop to tint and 3m clear bra it. Anyone have any recommendations? I don't mind paying for quality. Thanks

That might be good since I'll be picking up my new evo x from schaumburg. I'm not really interested in something with a lifetime guarantee since I'll be moving out of Chicago mid June.

umbra quoted me 250 for the windows and 500 for the 3m film. Anyone know if that can be beaten?

The above looks accurate. Going rate is $240-260. I've had a couple cars done so he cut me a deal.

When he quotes you, you can haggle a little bit. Offer cash and it might be lower too. But I trust him and he does great work.

 

Is 3M film that much better that its worth double the price?

 

The $500 for the 3M is to clear bra the car.
