Detroit area members?
Detroit area members?
I was wondering how many members of this forum, and also evo owners, live in, or around Detroit, Mi. Also what is the best shop to get an evo x tuned around Detroit. Evos are so scarce here, that i am starting to believe i'm alone.
You can try over in the midwest sub-forum, which includes Michigan.. but from a quick glance, it doesn't look like there's anyone from Detroit there..

I would guess that everyone from your city would be more into the "big 3" instead of imports

Live in Pittsburgh; but, used to live in Allen Park and my dad's side of our family if from Taylor. Occasionally make the trek north in my X to visit and have never seen another Evo out in ol' big three country. As far a shop is concerned Buschur Racing is roughly 2 hours from Detroit out in Ohio. Not a next door kinda shop but at least they have a good reputation and it's just another excuse to take a road trip.

As far as speed industry goes, they are ok, but not very knowledgeable on the x. As i stated above, all they knew about tunning it was to push the cobb stage 1 and 2 at me. While i do think cobb is a great route, i would still prefer a costom tune. From what i read on the forum, stage 2 is not even ready for the '11. My best options would be chicago, or ohio somewhere...
Thx. I did join but, that forum is mostly dead. I don't like the site format either.
