By 7:30 there were 3 or 4 EVO's there - the South West Corner of Maple and Tele. Maybe you were looking at the wrong corner?

Anyway, we had a good time and I'm looking forward to meeting more EVO owners.....When should we set up the next meet?

Yeah Dan, you were probably the EVO we all watched drive by (going north on Telegraph, then turn east onto to 15 Mile)!

I had a good time. I enjoyed meeting you all. I'm really looking forward to getting some good track time in this summer (Waterford Hills, Gingerman, etc).

Hi Guys,

I did not post any earlier as I do not have the time to go to meetings. Two jobs, School, and two kids. However I am very interested in taking my car to a track this Spring and Summer. I did some Auto-X last season. That was a lot of fun, however the wait is just too long for me. Please keep me in the loop about going to the track. It would be great to have a bunch of Evos / Lancers at the same time. I know Gingerman has test and tune a few days a week.

Take care,

Just wanted to let you all know that I have a shop in Coldwater and also do vinyl graphics. I've got a complete Gerber setup with a full color printer and cutter. Whatever we decide to do for Mi club decals I can take care of. I was down at AMS for the Dynoflash weekend fri and yesterday. Good turnout, probably 30 evos there.

Hey Guys!
Sorry, I couldn't make the meet.
So, when's the next one? I think Saturdays might be best. Especially for those travelling some distance.
Later.

I agree that Saturdays are MUCH better... I didn't make it out of work Friday untill 6:45 on the OTHER side of town...

But Saturday Nights, maybe on Woodwareshould be fun... I might be able to get the ok to use a storefront on Woodward between 12 & 13mile...

Would that be worth persuing?

Anyone know of a good install garage to replace clutch and turboback in the Troy/Rochester/Sterling Heights area? Obviously experience with our car helps.

I think Dan at Godspeed does that kind of work, I think he's in Southfield? I think his name here is Guru. Turboback you can do yourself, unless you have the Vishnu with the replacement O2 housing.. save yourself some $$.. it takes less than an hour with some rhino ramps..

Here's a list of shops that I know of here in Metro Detroit. I've dealth with Autoworks and Payn and both are good. I just found out about Godspeed a few weeks ago. I know they manufactured the y-pipe that I had on my 01 Maxima and it was a quality piece

Also I believe that if you go to Godspeed's website they have a Stage 1 for the EVos which includes Greddy Titanium Catback and their own down pipe.

1. Godspeed - Northville/Novi - 9mile and Haggerty (At least that's what Dan told me)
2. Autowork Motorsports - Couzens/10mile and 696
3. Payn Technologies - Thorncroft and Maple (Troy)

Agreed, Dan at GodSpeed or Devon at Payn would be your best bets...

and just an FYI - I haven't forgotten about these meetings, I've just been swamped with classes...

Sring can't come soon enough...
