I searched but it looks like most of the threads are a couple years old or more. I'm taking my 2010 evo x gsr with sss in for some warranty work and was wondering if anyone had any good or bad service experiences with them. My evo is stock with just different wheels so I shouldn't have to worry about any problems with them claiming the mods caused any issues. Please post any good or bad service experiences with them. I have a feeling I'm going to get screwed by the dealer service department. I just dropped off the car and showed him the problems I've been having. He told me that he will charge me $120 if Mitsubishi doesn't cover the car under warranty, which I can understand. I asked him why they wouldn't and he proceeded to tell me that the evo is the #1 modded car and how the warranty is different for those cars. I asked him to show me where in the fine print the warranty for the evo is any different than any of their other models. He said he would call me before noon and let me know if they can cover anything under warranty. I'm already preparing to call Mitsubishi corporate over this guy and get all the documentation from him that I can.

Thats why I take my car down to Max Madsen in Aurora even though I live up north. The guys at Max Madsen are supposedly more mod friendly and are pretty straight up with all my dealings with them so far. If I blow my motor due to a bad tune, I wouldn't expect them to cover it, but my ACD pump went bad last year, and had no trouble getting it replaced with my extended warranty.
