I'm not sure this is the right place to post this topic, but if not please don't hate on me

I'm looking for reputable performance shops around Chicago (besides AMS) to install parts (mainly intake and exhaust) and do custom tune.

I currently own 2012 Evo - completely stock.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated ! Thanks

What's wrong with AMS?

I would recommend Touge Factory. They have an evo x as a shop car and do a lot of work on customer's evos of all generations. They have phenomenal customer service and do awesome work. They also have a plethora of parts and are certified dealers for many Japanese parts companies as well as AMS.

 

Boosten Performance

 

MK Autolab in Des Plaines. New shop and I have first hand experience with them. They are super OCD about the work they do.

 

which area of chicago are you located at first of all. Am sure every evo owner in chicago has their own shop that they like or work with. me personally, i like to take my car to one shop that knows my car and knows my tune and set-up.

I would recomend either of the last 2! I have friends that have been through both and I personally have had Strictly work on my car and did a great job on the work and especially the tune! On the other hand I have also heard good things about Touger Factory as well. Take your pick lol

 

+1 for Strictly Modified and Boostin Performance. That's where I would go if I had to do it all over again.
