I'm fairly new to everything. Just bought and intake for my evo 8 and the car randomly dies when i slow down or stop at stop sign. It also idles like its going to die but then dont die. I put the stock intake box back on and nothing happens. I think there is a leak somewhere. Can anyone help me to specify the problem or have a clue where i can look at? I think its the intake itself. Thanks ahead of time.

 

Are all connections plugged in?

 

Also what kind of intake? Are you still using stock BOV?

 

I am using a weapon-r air intake and yes I am using the stock bov.
