Evo owners in Madison, WI area...
Yeah the Victoracers help some. The stock tires are really good too. I got the Kuhmos cause they're cheaper. I leave the center caps off because I melted them at Gingerman earlier in the year. Then I melted the plastic valve stem caps at Blackhawk a month ago. The brakes get kinda hot.
Never faded though. I've gone though 4 tires, front pads and rotors within 7500 miles.
Slaloms are my worst. I'm always like 10 feet from the cones. -Erik

Wish I could chime in on your autocross experience...I don't know squat about it though-too bad too, Columbus is right next door...
I've heard our stock rotors aren't up to the task of repeated track use...looks like you guys can confirm that. Hopefully some aftermarket slotted rotors will come out in our stock size...
I've heard greatt things about Falken Azenis tires for autocrossing...nice price too.
Moss-I'm flexible with getting time on that lift...I just need to know for sure that I could get some time on there before early/mid July. If I can, I'm gonna get the Vishnu standard turbo-back exhaust which replaces the factory O2 housing...the radiator, fan, shroud, and driver's side lower hard IC pipe all need to be removed for installation. If I can't use you're lift, I'm gonna get the standard dump-back which uses the factory O2 housing...I just can't pay for 4 hours of shop labor and I don't think I could install it on jackstands and/or by myself. Let me know what your schedule looks like-as soon as I get your ok I'm gonna order an exhaust. The distance is fine...I'm thinking it might take us most of a day to get it done though (6 hours or so?)...so let me know if you can invest that much time.
Thanks a lot!

I have similar plans for my car, so it would be good to practice on someone elses
It's going to have to be early-mid July sometime between the 1st and the 21st. I just need to check that there is no major project coming up that they are going to be using it for.
Only cost to you would be to let me have a go when it is all back together. Or at least a ride
We also have a really good road dyno so we should do a before and after test.

Great news Moss! I'll order it today then. You can't loose with either exhaust I think, but even though it's more difficult, I really was leaning towards the standard turbo-back. A couple guys I talk with here have it and like it (Stockfornow, Dude).
The sooner the better if possible. They haven't announced the date of the Vishnu Chicago dyno day, but obviously I'd like to have it on before then
You can drive my car all you want before AND after, you're saving me $80/hour in labor! I do have some tips that might help us along, I'm sure you're install will go much smoother after we learn on mine.
Just let me know ASAP about lift availability...I really appreciate your help!
