AARRF Track Days - July 17 & 18

The next AARRF track days are Saturday July 17, 2004 and Sunday July 18, 2004 at
the St. Cloud Highway Saftey Center in St. Cloud MN.

It is a weekend event with registration starting at about 7:30 AM each morning. Lots of track time and the drift pad will be open. As usual, spectators are welcome for a small fee (that insurance thing...)

More info at the AARRF site (and check out the forums): http://www.aarrf.com
Pre-Register for the event Here: http://aarrf.com/calendar/register.asp

St. Cloud is a fun track, and the drifters are great to watch while you are waiting. I usually manage to burn through 2+ tanks of gas in a day at St. Cloud, and have always been tired out before they are through letting people run.

If you were at the last event, you know how much fun it is to get your Evo on the track.

A bit off topic, but there is also a BIR track day comming up at Brainerd in early August. It will be a week day event. PM me if you would like more info.

For those who haven't driven BIR, it's a blast! I was hitting close to 145 by the end of the front straight, and the back side is a string of fast corners & short straights. The track is almost 3 miles long total. Not the hardest course I've driven, but one of the most fun.

Yes! My car will be back together in time for me to get it tuned for this event. Time to see what the new cams will do.

Two more days! Unfortunately my car won't be done, though. The body shop was working to get the car out this week, but it's still too far from finished.

At least I'll be able to get some track time in, though. A friend is letting me drive his car when he's not on the track.

Yeah, I missed my Evo this weekend. Oh well, got to drive some other interesting cars (350Z, WRX) for a few laps. I went and visited my car earlier today; it should be finished Tuesday or Wednesday. I've already scheduled alignment, cornerweghting, O2 bung and a custom test pipe for Friday.
