FS: Full 3"Helix DP/UR Cat/RMR Back
SOLD SOLD SOLD
I am putting my EVO back to stock to sell.
I have a full 3" exhaust as follows:
Helix DP. This has been Jet Hot coated(nice stuff and cost about $200 to coat).
Helix Desc
Ulitimate Racing Cat--Bolt on flanges; never threw a code
UR Desc
RMR Cat back with a Magnaflow muffler added.
RMR Desc
Magnaflow Desc
This is a nice set up--all have 2 bolt flanges and can be worked in with the stock exhaust if desired. i.e.--drop the stock cat in easily for emiss test, etc.
The jet hot on the DP is really nice. It is the high end turbo coating. It really keeps the hot moving down the pipe and out of the engine bay. Helix DP's had some fitment issues. I resolved that with a small flattening of the DP where it would come near the sub frame. I doubt this effects flow much at all.
RMR is a really nice catback. A big magnaflow was swapped in last year to try to get the right tone. RMR is one of the few exhausts that has resonators in the B pipe. With the Magnaflow added, you get the best of both worlds--resonators and a large Magnaflow. The tip is really cool, it follows the contour of the muffler.
If you are looking for the quietest 3" set up, this has to be it--Large Magnaflow muffler, UR Cat & RMR has 2 resonators. This exhaust isn't much louder than stock.
All the stuff is used, but in great shape.
Keep in mind, this thing is stainless steel(which doesn't rust). It is in very good shape. It looks like the flanges are steel and have some surface rust. Flanges are so darn thick that it would take 10 years for them to rust. The jet hot coating is in great shape. It does however stain a bit with road grime.
I am in Milwaukee--close to Chicago and willing to meet halfway to Chicago.
$450 local/$525 shipped
PM me if interested.

If you look at the links, the guys making and selling this stuff don't show a different model for the 9.
