My two front tires were really wearing bad on the left sides only and I went too purchase two cheap tires before the original ones blow up, at the tire place they mentioned that they had two used tires in my size, they are "Kelly Charger HPT" they both have maybe 2000 miles on them, they are in pretty good shape.

He said he will take $90.00 for both installed and balanced.

as soon as I pulled out of the lot I immediately noticed that the handling was not the same as the stock Yokohama Advans, they just feel like you are driving on wet water, the Cat reaction is not there anymore, if you turn the wheel a little fast the car slowly goes in the other lane, before it was an instant.

How are other tires compared to stock, do they also have that same numb feel?

dude you just replaced tires that cost 250 a piece with ones that cost 50-75 a piece. Guess what is going to happen

 

I know they are very cheap, but my question is about other tires, are there other tires that are comparable to the stock Advans?

the used tires I just purchased are just only to get by for the next week or two, I need new tires all around no question, but the $250.00 for the stock is to much for me at this time.

what other tires are like or similar to the handling of the stock Advans?

I like my Falkens Azenis RT 615's .......pretty sticky, stiff sidewalls, cool looking pattern, decent rain if you're not pushing it, and responsive!

 

No offense but everything about this post is bad.

Not only did you put really cheap tires on your evo but you also put mismatched, unevenly worn tires, up front.

It is really bad for an AWD car to have anything other than matching, evenly worn tires at all four corners.

 

thanks for the mention, like I said they will only be on for a couple weeks, the EVO is my third car, I just wanted peice of mind until I order my new tires, maybe if I will put 60 miles on them the most.

I really started this post because I wanted to mention how unresponsive other then the Advan the car is with other tires, and I wanted to know what other tires are comparable to the ADVAN stock tires.
