Looking for a new muffler... suggestions?

09 lancer.

I will be looking for a new muffler come january and I am looking for suggestions. Dont want one that sounds like a fart cannon driving down the street, my bike does a good enough job of that. Any suggestions?

flowmaster series(any that fit the lancer) all have a good deep sound.... but if ur looking for something a little more discreet try the greddy spectrum elite. its an axleback with more of a smooth quiet and sporty sound.

Can't go wrong with the setup RRM has. The sound on mine is perfect.

IMO i think putting a magnaflow or a flowmaster muffler on an import car isnt the best way to go, yeah it might sound good to some but i just cant see myself using those mufflers. I did a dual set up on mine and it looks sick. I would go duals if i were you.

eh not a fan of magnaflow or flowmaster on imports but whatevre floats your boat. if you want the best muffler you can get and dont mind paying for it. get the HKS muffler, the ones they make are amazing quality and can make a honda fit sound good.

Just fyi the RRM exhaust is a magnaflow. That's also the brand Buschur uses on their "Quieter" exhausts. So it's actually not terribly uncommon to see them on imports, they have a nice deep tone. HKS tends to either be really quiet, or really ricey from what I've heard, not to mention they're more expensive. But the sound all comes down to personal preference, just get what you like.
