License plate-Evo fits on Lancer GTS?

Quick question! Has anyone installed the Evo side plate on a 2009-10 lancer?
I hear stories about how they fit and they don't fit.
It would seem as if it would fit but not sure.
Could anyone confirm if they used the evo kit or another one?

I bought the side plate kit from Mitsu parts and it fits perfectly. There is a little gap in the middle from a bump that the Evo has that the GTS doesn't, but it doesn't affect fitment at all

Alright cool, because I believe the evo plates are $37 ish, and they were charging me 66.65 for the conversion kit for my GTS.
Just to verify, your plate is on the driver side right?

I got one for my GTS. Unless you're looking at it from the lower left side, you won't notice any gaps.

Mine is on the driver side.

Thanks for the info.
Dose the space create any damage on the paint?

No, the paint is not damaged. The only problem is that you have to drill 3 holes into your bumper to mount the plate. The gap is minimal and you won't be bugged by it.

People have different preferences. Although I sell my variation of the side mount. Alot of guys like the OEM one since it is just about the same fitment as the EVO X. the reason why I didnt settle for the EVO X OEM one was because I didnt like how the mount covered / obstructed the Lancer Fog light. Other than that the OEM one it works very well.
