EVO X License plate bracket

Hey Russ and everyone

Does the EVO X license plate bracket directly fit on a 2008+ lancers? Has anyone with a lancer tried it? I'm looking to buy one if it fits, I really don't want to pay 80 bucks from rrm form just this.. I really like how plates are on the side

Thanks for the help guys

I havent had any personal experience with putting the EVO Bracket on the Lancer, but I can tell you that Lancer customer's have been buying them and I have seen some various postings regarding this on other forums.

thanks for the response.. maybe because I remember when I first bought the car I asked about the side plate that is on an evo with the salesman that i bought the car from and he said that the bracket is only for the evo.. although its not like evos and lancers have different side frames that its gonna be difficult to mount one on a regular lancer.. do you have links or pictures?

anyone on here has an evo x mount on their lancers?

I have the Evo X side mount plate on my RA. U have to drill 13mm(x3) holes for the plate holder. It looks good, only problem is the X has a little lip at the bottom of there bumper that the Lancer and RA don't have so there is space at the bottom but nothing major.

could you provide a zoomed in pic of the space? does the mount wiggle around or does it stay in place with the drilled holes?

Sorry its dark out and the only pic that turned out. U can see that our bumper it flat and the X bumper has a lip at the bottom. It is on there very sturdy with the 3 screws and rubber plugs. Hope that pic helps.
