About the GETRAG/TC-SST tranny
http://www.getrag.de/en/234
Officially can only hold 346 lb-ft of torque (470nm)
http://www.themotorreport.com.au/425...side-the-evo-x
Information saying the TC-SST is a Getrag 6DCT470
Don't know if anyone has read any of that yet.

I have heard of them working on TCU stuff as well as Cobb, but nothing concrete is out yet. Believe me, if there was something out there, definitely would have bought it already lol.

Yes, they are able to modify the ECU to make the SST hold more torques. The main function they are over riding is that when he SST detects too much torque it opens up the clutch packs and the engine free revs, they have the ability to change that "346 wtq" limit. This is my comprehension of it anyways.
Also COBB tuning software both ATR and pro tuner have the ability to modify this too.

pressure on the clutches is determined by the TCU and not the parts or the ECU ..
At the preset pressure .. the TCU is already calibrated to know how much 'torque' it can run .. if the variation exceed the limit .. the TCU will protect the gearbox ..
RA's wont' hold because the ECU request limit is like 30% less than an Evo's ..
And that is not knowing if the RA has a derated gearbox from factory
