noob question...

Ok. So I went ahead and purchased/installed the following items on my MR:

AMS DownPipe
Megan Racing Testpipe (Cat-delete)
Harman Motive Intake
SpecialityZ resonated dual tip CBE

I've been told by numerous people that there may be a whp limit that I shouldn't exceed for the MR and should hold off on any other mods. I was wondering what the opinion of the group is. I'm not entirely sure how much whp my car is kicking yet (it hasn't been dyno'd). But roughly speaking assuming I'm near the 320 mark, is it safe to put in the IC pipes, or maybe a larger turbo, or maybe CAMs?? What's the max boost any of you would run on your MR?

thanks!

Its not the whp its the torque. I think says not to go over 350wtq on the stock SST.

Ok. Do you think its safe to put in the IC pipes, a larger turbo or CAMs in light of a 350wtq-limit on the stock SST, in addition to what I have now?

THanks!

dude you live hair ***** away from AMS! lol
get your upper ic changed and an ic ( intercooler ) and get tuned!!! not just dynoed becasue right now you have about 200 at the wheels lol

and after if your budget is good put cams injectors and "fpred " maybe to get the wtq down and the hp up !!

This is the advice I've been given and have taken. I'm just curious how to extract the most ahwp without damaging the tranny. After 100k miles (im at 20 now), I won't care as much.

Do you guys raise the boost at all on MRs? I haven't gotten a sense, from reading posts here, of whether people even raise the boost at all. If so, what's the 'safe' level to raise it to? I've read somewhere 23psi is safe. Any suggestions?

thanks!
