S-sport

Is the s-sport mode for only if u leave it in drive. Does it shift faster or just hold the gears longer?

Both, try it in drive on a deserted street, it will blow you away.

Well i bought my MR about a couple of days but i never really got time to drive it so its just been sitting in my garage. But from what i messed around with it seems the normal, sport, and s-sport shift the same when using the paddle shifters. Correct me if im wrong but i think s-sport only matters if you leave it in drive.

The mode changes the clutch engagement properties in any mode. S-sport mode in manual allows you to have the fastest shift even in lower RPMS!you didn't notice it probably because your car hasn't warmed up, or werent paying enough attention!

S-sport will automatically shift down when the car slows down. But during acceleration ,you to have manually shift up once the speed increase.

S-Sport is great for the track (road course). It always keeps the revs at the right point. But I find it too extreme for the street. In S-sport auto mode it basically tries to keep the revs at 5,000rpm or higher all the time!
