I answered all of your techinical questions and this is all I get "Smoke and mirrors".. I was actually looking for a more professional response from you guys..

The internet offers huge amounts of information on filters and their performance. Anyone can Google pleated filters vs. screen filters, and the answer will always be the same.

Why would you offer a larger surface area filter with extended filter housing for the X???? Your factory screen style filter should be sufficient enough to filter the X's transmission if the proper testing were done...

Dumb question: What is the purpose of the filter, just to remove the wasted clutch material from the oil?

SSP's OEM style SST filter is still cheaper...

And I would trust a reputable company like SSP over random eBay who knows what:

Also, I had my SSP one shipped here on the initial sale promotional price for $79.95 shipped. That eBay one is almost $100 with shipping.

Agreed. There shouldn't be a need to extend the housing. Clearly the pleated design retains OEM size while increasing filtration capabilities significantly. WINNING!

The EBay one is made by Filtran in Germany (i bouth one and its exactly the same as stock) who knows where SSP get their filter. They have a little * by OEM Probably Korea???
And I live in Canada do the shipping from SSP is crazy and duty is even crazier...

Once Mitsubishi pulls your filter and note that it's not Filtran but some *OEM = void warranty

It doesn't void your warranty Cyril and SSP has a distributor in Canada that you can get it shipped in Canada for less than that eBay one.

I also don't trust a no-name SST filter for my $10k+ transmission on eBay for equal or more cost than a filter made by a reputable company like SSP.

Your choice, I just personally would never use that one.

I also had my original filter shipped from SSP in the US and it was sent by USPS through Canada Post. No duty, no taxes.

Clearly it's you selling those filters on eBay haha good luck.

It's making sure people have the most true info to choose the best product(s) possible for their car.

I prefer that and getting answers directly from manufacturers than as you put it, interwebz info lol

No red mist and I don't trust things on eBay, especially not something like that.

As I said, which clearly you didn't read, its just my choice. I'd trust SSP over eBay regardless of the eBay product description.

To each their own.

Let's keep to facts then shall we? Description and photos are of OEM filter and casing and the guy stated he received a OEM filter and casing.

Both of those items are possible without vendors constantly hitting each other in the face with their weiners.

Good for him. I'm sure the Rolex on eBay for $10 is also real.

Someone who made fraudulent Sony and SanDisk flash drives. Pretty easy to get a brand name on a product...

http://reviews.ebay.ca/FAKE-Sony-Mem...00000001236041

My point, it's my choice and I PERSONALLY (as in my choice) wouldn't get something for my transmission from eBay.
