Trans service required... message blink
Trans service required... message blink
Hey there, Soo, been trying to search for other posts with the same kinda issues but haven't found anything yet.
- While driving engine at running temp.. the SST runs through all gears normaly no issues.
- When shifting from 3rd to 2nd off the gas slowing down for say a school zone or going around a corner at less than 30/km hr I'll get a message , Service trans required it will flash on for about 2 seconds.
- While engine at running temp going from 1st to 2nd under nearly 0 load "crawling" in traffic. "service trans required"
These messages don't seem to be posting a code.. when i try to read the ECU for any codes it says no data available..
Is there a way to read the cars computer to find out exaclty "what service is required? with out going to the dealer?
Recently had the trans fulid replaced with a new filter.. i'm drving a 2011 MR with 20,000km
Checked the plugs.. their tight with no leaks. also checked the AYC in the back of the car and it's running normal fluid levels.
any ideas? is there away to check the "tcu" for codes?
thanks
