i got a error engine code shift solenoid 1 the car is not changing out gear even when in drive its a 2008 mit. galant ralliart i bought the shift solenoid but im not sure which one excatly is it, can someone tell me how i go about this and the code erro was p1833

Been awhile since I've been on here... don't drive the EVO in the salt belt, so I don't go on here to often. Shep opened up my tranny, and sure enough my shift fork WAS broke, and when it came undone must've knocked the sensor for it off the mount point. Drive it for like a month then put it away until the salt goes away. Hope this helps? ??
