I am glad I changed my filter myself on my Ralliart because I got to see first hand that the O-Ring was in bad shape and was leaking some oil. The best advice I can give you is buy quality oil and a good filter and do it yourself. (1) So you don’t get raped on the labor to change the oil (learned this the hard way), and (2) So you know first hand the condition of your filter, drain plugs, oil volume, and etc.

No, it's not. The TC-SST altogether holds ~7L, including in the cooler, pump, filter area, etc
You can only drain about 5.7 - 6L without flushing it. You will need 2 X 4L, but you will obviously have some leftover for next time.

I'd rather do the flush then. Makes sense to do so. I'll research some. Everyone seems to have their own way of doing it.

That would be great, just don't have a shop, garage or tools to do it in.
Once it is time to buy a home, the garage will be top consideration though.

Definitely recommend changing the filter, paper or stainless, doesn't matter. Just get it done. Like Kozmic said, the tranny is expensive (though down from the $10k years), It's worth the ~$100 for just the peace of mind.

We are local to you if you need a shop qualified for the fluid flush .
