Where is the clunk coming from? Front or rear?

Probably the rear diff bumping the stops if the sound comes from the back.

Have the check engine light checked at auto parts store.

I had a few clunks with my 08 MR (around 8k miles on it). Nothing ever happened from it. To my knowledge, that car is now at 75k miles, and still going strong without any major issues.

I think the SST is just a little finicky on the earlier models. It may be worth looking into the flash upgrade on the SST to get it up to the modern years TCU updates.

I'd look up E spec on the forums (erkel). He isn't in NYC, but in NY. Not sure how far away, but heard great things on the west coast about him.

Lol like wise I got at 76k and I know the car was sent to mitsubishi prior to 74k and they inspected her like it was a prostitute with a shady background lol. And thanks ill look into that for sure
