When changing the SST fluids at 15k miles should I change the filter too or just the fluids? Mitsu said just fluids, but I wasn't sure if that's the way to go.

 

Fluid and Filter Every time (think engine oil change)

ESPECIALLY at 15K. Once you get the filter out you'll understand. It used to be white

 

Not to hijack thread, but I thought you could go longer on oil change if using synthetic? I use Castrol GTX Synthetic Blend, and the manual says every 3k miles, but I was thinking that was for normal oil?
I ask because my routine maint. chime is going off. Last oil change was around 8,xxx miles and some change. I have 11700 miles now, but the dealers sticker says at 14700 miles next change. I was thinking they didn't set up car reminder right or something. Was just curious.

 

tuner told me every 3k miles, but 4k would be fine

 

I'm hoping you simply missed the "SST" part of this thread because one would go broke changing the SST oil every 3k lol

 

I made the thread lol I was answering the guys question question I though he was asking about motor oil. But yea every 3k for the sst fuild shiiitttttt
