Is the SST gearbox external oil filter absolutely specific for the Evo X (DSG 470)?

I understand that they are VW sourced and thus would, I assume , fit other vehicles with similar gearboxes.

Our twin clutch transmission is a Getrag unit, not a VW unit. I'm no expert on the VW / Audi twin clutch but I think theirs' is an in-house design and not a Getrag unit, even though they are both German companies.

The best place to get a paper original style filter is through Kozmic, here's the link. I'm not sure if they do international shipping though? If they do you should go with them, as they are the US (and probably international) experts on this trans. They support our community and help out a ton of people. I buy my filters through them, and when it's time for a tune and other mods I'll be using them for sure.

If Kozmic can not ship internationally, then Volvo uses our same transmission in some of their cars that get imported to the US, and here is a post I made with the Volvo part number and a link to a dealer in Chicago that had them cheap back at that time. If the number is the same for Euro Volvos you should be able to go get one if you have a Volvo dealer locally:
