oh well, every 6 months isn't too bad, and i shouldn't mess up the replacement too badly...
Fortunately they are inexpensive enough that being proactive is not very costly.

This is interesting stuff. I was told by my tuner that if I went much farther with performance mods (currently bolt-ons, 1000cc injectors, fuel pump) I would need to limit using S-Sport mode. My MR is my DD, so typically I start off in Normal and after a few minutes of driving I'll go full manual but still in Normal in traffic/stop & go. Should I be engaging Sport or S-Sport mode more often for clutch/trans longevity?

been told it is more or less only an issue at higher rpms > 5k? or 6k rpm shifts, where there would be issues with letting things slip too much

i actually just keep it in normal automatic now and go easy on the throttle and it does mostly what i want
