Hi Everyone,

I just recently bought a 2010 evo SE with 57k. When I bought it, the car would not move at all. Not even in neutral. The guy i bought it from said he got it diagnosed at the dealer and they said its the transfer case that has gone bad. Even should me the shaving that where in it when he took out the fluid. I took it to my mechanic to have the transfer case switched out. He just switched it but said that the front wheels should atleast be moving even before bleeding the system. Which they're not. Mechanic says that it might be the transmission that has gone bad because the car is not even going into gear. I asked the guy I bought it from and he said that it cant be the transmission because the car wouldnt even move in neutral. Is that true? What do you guys think? Could it be the transmission or is it really the transfer case that has gone out? Anyway I can check? Im hoping its the transfer case. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
