Hey Russ,

I need the JDM part # for the part that this bolts to:

So the part that I think is different between the USDM and the JDM/EDM to hold the license plate bracket is #11 "Reinforcement" in the below pic:

  1. Bumper cover
  2. Fastener Fastener Either Side
  3. Bumper cover Rivet
  4. Retainer clip Retainer clip Either Side
  5. Bumper cover Bolt
  6. Screw #1 Either Side
  7. Screw #2 Either Side
  8. Screw #3 Either Side
  9. Grommet Grommet Either Side
  10. Gasket Gasket Either Side
  11. Reinforcement
  12. Reinforcement Bolt
  13. Gasket Gasket Either Side
  14. Upper plate Left
  15. Absorber
  16. Impact bar
  17. License bracket
  18. License bracket Nut
  19. License bracket Rivet
  20. License bracket Bolt

It doesn't bolt up directly to the USDM "reinforcement" as the holes are not 210mm apart like they are on this JDM piece:

USDM "reinforcement" part modified to use the USDM license bracket:

Note, the pic you have (the one with the black bumper) is of a JDM, not EDM

Looking at the JDM parts breakdown, it looks like there is another part that is used to hold the lights that rest above the plate.

80506 in this diagram:

Do you carry this or shall I just attempt to modify the JDM license bracket?

Any update on this? I picked up the reinforcement MR520343 (Jp Evo Ix Reinforcement) to go with the plate, but I'm wondering about the other piece that holds the lights to the bracket as well.

What hardware do I need to mount up the reinforcement and the plate bracket?

Cross referencing the PNC numbers on the JDM diagram return these USDM numbers... I think:
  • MF243622 BOLT,CYLINDER BLOCK
  • MF455390 SCREW,FR BUMPER
  • MS440522 NUT,FUEL LINE
  • MB480177 GASKET,RR BUMPER

Some of them might be deprecated though.

Also, any update on the light bracket?

Might be part:
  • MR574339 Evo Vii Lic Lamp Bracket

The VII Rear requires 2 smaller brackets and the VIII/IX Bumper Requires 1 larger bracket for the lamps. I will have to special order that bracket from Japan, but I will get a shipment coming. It will be a while before they arrive though.

Great, thanks for the follow-up!

What about mounting hardware for the plate bracket and the reinforcement?

Does this list work/make sense?

Does the JDM bracket work with USDM license plates?
or are all holes placed 210mm apart?

Russell has said in another thread that the plate bracket will fit US plates just fine.

I have not tried it myself yet, because I'm still waiting on hardware to mount up my bracket and reinforcement...

What PNC Numbers are you looking at in the parts diagram to cross reference? I want to make sure you have the correct part numbers before I give you a link to order them.
