MAPerformance Customer Reviews
Big ups to Nick at Maperformance,
I have had nothing but great experiences from MAP, from rock bottom prices on parts from Adam, to top notch tuning by Jordan, I previously made just under 700 hp on a 6765 with stock head/s2's All MAP spec internals, the only reason it didn't make more was that I ran out of fuel with the stock return line.
Recently I had the their stage 5 Head job done and upgraded the fuel system to a dual Deatchworks in tank setup and headed back up for tuning but my Oil pump decided to check out and it took a couple main bearings with it.
Nick has been extremely helpful diagnosing the problem and keeping me updated, sending pics of the engine. (big ups to the behind the scenes master mechanics doing the wrenching also!! I don't trust many people to touch my evo) With the likelyhood of the crank or block bieng damaged, I think this is a good time to upgrade to MAP's flagship 2.4L see it in action here and their short block page here anyways, long story short stay posted for big things!
Thanks MAP!

This is how my rear diffuser arrived with the shipper.
MAP refuses to refund money or replace part.
i called the company minutes after it arrived and i discovered it broken.
the claim was made online as instructed 30 minutes after the part arrived.
almost a month later i am still waiting on a resolution to the situation.
BUYER BEWARE!
if your part arrives broken MAP will blame everyone else and leave the customer with garbage.
I will update this IF map decides to refund my money or ship me a new part.

This is a truly unfortunate situation, but I'm afraid we've helped you as much as we can with this issue. The product shipped directly from the manufacturer with insurance and was damaged in shipping, however a damage waiver was signed by the recipient upon delivery. The shipping company makes the final decision in situations like this, with that being said I'm not sure what we (or any other vendor for that matter) could have done differently.
To those that read this, please be sure to thoroughly check any freight shipments you might receive prior to signing for the item. Insurance requirements are different from UPS and Fedex and you may find yourself in a similar situation regardless of whom youorder from.

A big thanks to MAP not only for their excellent EF2 and short runner manifold but all the other misc parts I got from them too. Turbo took a bit of time to make up but they were pretty good keeping me in the loop. Great shipping all the way downunder.
Car's now putting out 440/340 on a 09 ralliart. Very impressed with their products and service!

Modern Automotive Performance Buyers Beware!!!
Buyers if you purchase anything from modern performance All of you should know that if you have a problem with anything they sell you are on your own they will not help you in any way whate so ever. I purchased a 600.00 ERL manifold and the thing cracked. I contacted map and they quickly told me without any direction to contact the manufactorer ERL because they have nothing to do whith warranty and since the credit card company has given them their funds its out of their hand. Okay so I contacted ERL and they basically said they I need to go through the reseller to get the product covered under warranty. So I call map back and they basically said you are S>O>L . Just becareful and ask question about warranty and how to get a product warrantied if it should fail. The ERL cam with a lifetime warranty against cracking. They claim since i welded a wastegate flange onto the manifold it voided the warranty. But at the same time in the option box on their web page it plainly states that if you do not purchase the split collar them welding is necessary every on is under the impression that its okay to have a flange welded to the manifold whether 38mm or 44mm. I am very surprised at map lack of effort to help the customer in this situation and they will never get any more of my business
