Navid cleaned up.. won ESP and beat BSP, SM, SS, and almost SM2 in the process.

Anybody have any info on the car? It says Kumho tires.. size? I was pretty sure the 285s weren't available yet..

Thanks - Navid was smoking fast this weekend in his RS (He won the ProSolo final last year in Joe250's Evo). I don't want to say too much in case there are any lurkers, but he beat Vic's time - good data for Eric, Mark and Jack.

The kumho 285s have been out, I had a line on a set but couldn't get the wheels.

I finally won one of these things and quailified 5th for the challange rounds. 2nd place in STU was the '03 nation champ STS car. For those doing the Atlanta Pro, you should see the "huge" trophies Tasha is giving out this year instead of the trophy T-shirts, I'll have to post a pic. Wish us luck this weekend at the SD national Tour!

Richard, I hope to run the Toledo, Oscoda, and Peru Tour/ Pro this year. Did you get a hold of the Falken 615's?

That's great that you can run 3 Pros, hopefully you'll only need 2 .

Nope, I was running the tallish 245/45 215's. Other cars in STU were trying to get the 615's in the shorter and wider 255s from Vulcan tire - hope it takes a week to restock them.

The relatively heavy evo is really under tired in the front in STU. Josh Sorter's STX WRX is probably 200lbs lighter on the same width tire. The M3s will run 255s with 300 less wt on the front.

The car is an '05 RS with less than 2K miles on it.
  • A/C removed
  • Borrowed Ohlins Road & Track coilovers (thanks Tam)
  • Hayward and Scott headers, down-pipe and cat-back
  • XEDE engine management with Vishnu's 100 octane program (thanks Shiv)
  • 18X10 CCW wheels
  • 285/30/18 Kumho V710 tires
  • Exedy twin disk clutch
  • Hutchkis rear sway bar
  • Odyssey PC535 battery
  • Momo steering wheel with our own quick-release
Other than that, it's stock! Lack of ABS was not an issue until I got to the challenge with the front tires wearing down.

Lurkers????? No.....

The rest stock huh????

Oh well best not to feed your buddy (Winchell) any more than what he already has. Enough regurgatation has been spewed over at SCCAForums. I hope that mess alone wasn't the reason for Eric leaving ESP.

I actually started the year planning to go straight to SM partly because of all the crap. I just couldn't sell my old car and couldn't buy my Evo until just a month ago. By then, it was too late to prepare an SM car for the season.

No kidding, and dare I ask what changes your already-good-in-SM ESP car will be bringing to Atlanta?
