I am wanting to get my car lower, but having issues with clearancing the 285/30/18 Hoosier. I guess it may be time for widebody front fenders. lol. Oh well, two weeks to first big event on a good surface, we will see.

Mark,
Nelson and I think T&S may have been messing with you on Sunday. None of us actually saw you hit cones on your latter runs.
For everyone who wasn't there, I think Mark accrued some frequent flyer miles, his car was in the air for a good portion of the course.
On a side note, I think that lot claimed my front left wheel bearing....Awesome! I told my wife to never allow me to run there again, ever. At least the price isn't so bad around $150. It doesn't move either when the car is on the ground, I had to have it up to actually feel the slop. At least the knocking noise is explained.

So where'd y'all get your Ohlin's from?
Are the R&T's needing revalving to accommodate ~750lb springs? And I'm hearing that the Ground Control camber plates aren't a dropin fit, but the Works plates are? Other Ohlins' tips?

It's not easy.

You can get your Ohlins from Works, or I can get it for you if you'd like. Correct on the assumptions above. Works will be able to revalve these very soon. GC has this unique layer that is made to pivit with the suspension. Unfortunately, the extra layer cuases the short Ohlins shaft not to clear the top enough for a regular nut to attach. You basically have to machine a nut to thread down into the pillow ball. I have to change the front springs this week. I'll take some pictures and post it.
