Your eyes do not deceive you. For $200 bucks you get morning coffee service, snacks, GatorAde, bottled water, catered lunches, instruction, group downloads, air conditioned driver's lounge, and best of all -- TWO HOURS OF TRACK TIME (divided up between six 20-minute sessions) and open track at the end of the day 'til 5PM. For more info, visit http://www.team-racing.org And no, it's not only for Miatas.

Sorry I didn't post this much sooner . . . I thought one of our Evo drivers was gonna do that. Oops. But there's still time!!! Contact me directly if you'd like -- bonni@weatherwax.net

See you there!

Awesome, jbfoco . . . if you get yours and the other Evo to sign up, we'll have a total of 3 Evos there! I think you guys should all paddock together. Let me know if you like that idea and I can get you in contact with the other (silver) Evo owner already signed up.

I'd love to go, but it's about a 1,000 mile round trip for me from SoCal, so I can't justify a trip to T-hill unless it's a 2-day event. Have fun.

Well keep your eyes peeled, Richard -- pending word from Thunderhill's events coordinator, we may just be doing a two day event on the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving.

I ran at T-hill last year, the weekend after Thanksgiving with Speed Ventures. It was a great event. It did rain early Sat. morning, but it cleared up and dried out pretty quickly, and the weather was great the rest of the weekend. It wasn't too heavily attended because of the holiday weekend, so I got tons of track time. Hope you can sponsor that event this year.

GREAT NEWS!!! Not to hijack my own thread, but Thunderhill just gave me the green light for our November 2-day event! That's November 25-26, by the way. Yes, it's just after Thanksgiving . . . but it's the Friday and Saturday after, leaving Sunday for folks to drive home, relax, clean dishes, whatever. Info and reg forms for this event (as well as the August date) available at http://www.onemain.com/~bonster/teamevents.html

I am so excited!!! Oh . . . back to the August tenth thread now.

That's a very nice track map . . . I think I'll 'steal it'. The copy I have is ugly (old, too). See you in November, then! I have a feeling that with so much advance notice, we'll be seeing a lot of signups (we max the run groups, though, so that it's not packed like a can of sardines).

You're welcome for the map. I got it off the T-hill website. They used to have a great video of one lap around the track too, but it looks like they took it down.

***Hey, Jae . . . it was fun talking to you a while back. If we get 40+ drivers, Eddie Nakato of Adrenaline racing will kick in some sposorship money again, and another set of brake pads for the raffle. Problem is, we still only have 26 drivers (including Josh's red Evo and a newbie with a silver Evo. Let's get 14 more by Monday so that we can get free stuff from Adrenaline Racing! Lol.
