ok i can help some i have raced karts for many years mostly 100cc yamaha sprint med on small speedway ovals in NH and VT so i can relate to the karting aspect and i do autox my evo.
think of it as your kart with too much under steer in tight corners but a very controllable oversteer in med to high speed corners 45+mph. i run a very very tight technicle track with many decreasing radious corners forcing you to drive in deep and brake hard and late a prime condition for under steer not good for evo's chances are your tracks wont be this tight. as for over steer very easy to control and modulate with the go button alot like a shifter kart but less twitchy(due to the longer wheel base)

but when it comes down to it youhave plenty of practice in a shifter you'll be fine, just have fun and dont over drive it.
