any opinions on video camera mount for track?
Scratch mine......at a few points on the track there was a lot of vibration in the picture. Overall it wasn't too bad except for the vibration and that the camera was zoomed in from being in the back of the car and killed the sensation of speed. Back to the drawing board.
zoom definitely kills the sense of speed, unless u're filming a car from the outside. Are you going to try to fix the vibration or the zoom thing (relocation?). As for vibration, there's a lot of things you can try, and using the seat as a cushion could probably result in good results. I think i'll think of a few ideas myself too.

do you run the cage mount with a standard mini dv cam yourself?
