So many different choices... deep bucket, more open bucket, head restraints, etc, etc,.... I just went through this too, ended up with Sparco EVO seat cause I found it dirt cheap at intense motorsports, used EVO2 (lost some weight, lol) on my 240sx race car and like it.

I also like how the EVO seat is fairly open, you can move around in it.

nils,

how'd you mount your 5th point, outta curiousity.

just make sure that if you do a hole through the bottom of the car that you reinforce it somehow so it wont rip out in high G loads.

goodluck bud..

yeah, i'd do a double plate/sandwich kinda thing, like a 4x4 piece of 1/4 aluminium on both sides, two bolts holding that, and then one stud coming up through both and thats where the belt piece would bolt to.

I love the seats in my 06. They fit me just like the Recaro SRD's I had in my Porsche. I cut the lower seat cushion and sewed in a trim piece so I can pass the sub belt through to the floor. In the end it worked out great, it just freaked me out cutting slots in my brand new seats.

Do you have a photo of your seat-mod to use a 5th point?
