traqmate?

anyone on here using this system? i saw a data file online for an evo. if i had a spare grand and could afford more time on the track, this thing looks awesome.

yup, and with the new addition of the extra sensors, should be even better.

I have seen the Traqmate in action once though I went with the G2X system. Similar to Traqmate. Check out www.g2xtreme.com/

The current edition of "Sports Car", the official publication of SCCA (which you get if you are a member) has a good article comparing six different data loggers/lap timers, including traqmate.

The issue of SportsCar with the comparison is the April '06 issue. It has a Yellow Mini on the front and if you look close the whole picture is made up of ones and zeros.

Thanks for finding it before I did. Agree it is the April 2006 with Mini on the cover. Sometimes the covers are actually different I think around the country (maybe I'm drunk, it wouldn't be the first time) but anyway you should be able to find it with this info. On the front cover of my mag, it says "Data from Thin Air" announcing the featured article about "plug-and-play data acquisition".
