these are both their respective best in category, you can get cheaper stuff (but the you would have settled for a STi and not bought an EVO )
That's a pretty good price for that milwaukee.

I borrowed a torque wrench from someone at the track that you could use both ways, but forgot to ask the brand. I went to sears to get one from craftsman, but apparantly they don't make one that can go anticlock wise (ie to loosen)

thanks

If you are having that much trouble getting your lug nuts off, your are torqueing them too much in the first place. 75 lbs. is fine. As far as I know, almost all torque wrenches and impact wrench are reversible and go in both directions.

It should be very very easy to loosen lugnuts if they are properly torqued. 80 ft-lbs is light enough to loosen them even if the wheel is off the ground and spinning freely.

Yes, my torque wrench is usable in either direction, but I don't use it to loosen the lugs.
exactly what he said, but if it's really hot it will hard to take it off. so let it cool down or you going to screw up the thread.

True, but I wouldn't recommend breaking lugs loose with a torque wrench. Get a breaker arm, tire iron or impact.

I used to have issues breaking my stock lugs free, but later I figured out that they were galling the hell out of my studs and locking up with the metal debris. I bought some new non-oem lugs and haven't had the problem since.

Btw, I also find that using the ARP wheel studs makes things easier when in combination with 19mm open-ended lug nuts and an impact gun. I absolutely love my long ARP studs.
