Mark, Are you driving the white or black car?

Is this event at summit or shenadoah? (sp)

Cory,
I am driving at least the black car in unlimited, possibly also the white car if Martin decides to bring it in Modified class. The event is being run on the Shenandoah circuit, and I can't wait. I especially am looking forward to driving the black car. You planning on coming?

Mark

Michael,

Cool on the Tarzan deal. I don't see you guys registered yet for the event. What class/classes will you be running? So are you putting Tarzan in a 600 hp beast or what?

Mark,

You will have to wait and see. We still have not decided which classes we want to enter each car. We will definately have a car in unlimited.

Well Mark we plan to have multiple cars of different makes in each class. That is all I can say. We hope that there is a good turn out and everyone has fun in the end.

I talked to greg about taking my street car but we both agreed that the shenandoah track would prob be too much a risk for my daily ride, and unfortunately the unlimited car will not be ready in time so I'm probably sitting this one out, unless you guys need another driver. (you run the black car and I jump in the white one? )

It would be very cool to give Tarzan a run. He was at the grand-am race in Phoenix a few months ago, aparantly running some quick times in the cyber evo.

Michael,

I get a time out for not fully reading and understanding your post on what classes you will be running. I somehow missed the part where you said that you havn't decided what classes to run yet. My Bad. But , yes it should be fun.

Cory,
Martin's white car is his street car, and that may be a concern of his also. I don't see the track as all that dangerous if you respect the Luke Russell jump on the long straight. Most of the corners are slow speed, minimizing the risk of hitting anything. Much like 12-14 at carolina motorsport park. It looks like Tarzan may be running in the Modified class, so you may want to bring your car out and make him earn it. (oh, yea, and turn up the boost!!!!)

I haven't been to shenandoah yet so all my knowledge of it is what I've heard. Allot of PCA guys say people crash there all the time but every track has its challenges.

Next time my car goes out it will def be pushing more boost and stiffer springs, brake cooling, shorter tires, ect...... haha I should have never run it against you guys, now I have to ruin my street car to keep up.

Maybe we will just leave the grocery getter 4 door's at home and bring something to give tarzan a REAL hard time

Oh yea, I would say you have some Porsche's at your disposal that would turn a few heads.
And I have not run there either, but from all the in car video I have seen, it doesn't seem that bad.

Guys,

I just drove the track the other day to refresh my memory. All I can say is to be very careful. The PCA guys are right about easily crashing. If you make a mistake you will kiss the concrete wall. It is a roller coaster ride of a track. Have FUN!-

Ehh.... Standard?

Im not familiar with the "standard" setup, but we will be using the Karussel and we will cut the hot-pit lane part of the track out, and make the 180 degree turn towards "The Hammer" and "Stone House Straight" a bit earlier. We felt the concrete barriers made the portion of the track near the paddock too narrow and no as friendly to cars as we wanted.

We may use the chicane near the bridge if we think cars will be catching too much air over the drop off... ;-)
