I never compared NASCAR to F1 -- I specifically said that even attempting to compare the two is like comparing apples to oranges. And no...not just anyone can build a car in NASCAR and race -- it takes a big budget to do so. Technology? Once again, you've stated the obvious. Pretty much everyone knows that F1 has superior technology when compared with NASCAR. The technology limitation in NASCAR is part of the challenge of the race series.

I don't recall calling you any names beyond "SuperMod", which shows up in your avatar. If you feel as though it is a derogotory term, then maybe you should remove it?

Then again, you edited my post, so if I said anything out of line then I have forgotten already and I apologize if you found it offensive.

I don't appreciate some of the "holier-than-thou" posts you've made -- they were unnecessary and in my opinion detract from the thread just as much as the "name calling" I have supposedly engaged in.

I'm not here to instigate anything more than discussion about motorsports. I will back up the statements I've made when questioned about them.

A bunch of people who have posted in reply have misunderstood what I have been trying to say, and I will continue to clarify where necessary until:

1) There's nothing more to say
2) You ban me.

Your choice.

i think what you're trying to say is that nascar might require less skills than F1 but it's a different set of skills. just like bolling require less skills than F1 but Michael will never win a bolling championship.

Any type of motorsports is a challenge. There's a reason why you don't see average joes doing it...

I hear Michael is quite the athlete outside of the car too, so he might do well at bowling. Germans make good beer too, and bowling always has beer with it.

While I do expect a Schumacher thread to be heavily F1-biased, I don't expect one of the so called "fair" moderators in this forum to act like an immature *** and start talking a bunch of **** and get angry because he's interpreted something a member said as "F1 is not the best race series".

Grow up, "SuperModerator".

I tried to be nice but you refuse to heed the warning.
